Project Overview
I have played a pivotal role in digital transformation initiatives, guiding organizations through technology adoption, process optimization, and UX-centered change management. By communicating the value of new solutions in a way that resonates with both leadership and end users, I’ve successfully led adoption strategies that drive business impact.
Problem Statement
Large enterprises often face significant resistance to change when introducing new technologies, processes and ways of working. At ExxonMobil, the transition to cloud-based solutions and user-centered design methodologies required widespread adoption across global teams - but without a structured change management strategy, there was a risk of low engagement, misalignment, and slow implementation. The challenge was to bridge the gap between technology, business processes.
My contributions
Using an Agile/DevOps framework with a user-centered design approach, I executed change management best practices to assist with the adoption and enablement of cloud solutions utilized across the global IT organization of 1,000+ users in several different countries. Our team was focused on all aspects of People, Process and Tools strategic framework. My contributions were as follows:
- Led change management initiatives for enterprise-wide digital transformation projects
- Effectively communicated how new solutions integrate into existing and evolving processes, ensuring smooth adoption
- Secured buy-in from leadership and cross-functional teams by demonstrating business impact
- Developed training and onboarding strategies, helping teams transition to new cloud-based tools
- Conducted UX research & feedback loops, refining adoption strategies based on real user needs
Impact
By implementing a user-centered change management strategy, I helped ExxonMobil accelerate adoption, reduce resistance, and align teams with the organization’s broader digital transformation goals - ultimately ensuring that new solutions were embraced, not just deployed.
- Increased adoption rates of cloud-based solutions across global teams
- Reduced training time and resistance to change through strategic communication and user advocacy
- Strengthened alignment between business goals and digital transformation strategies

Product Communications
Product release update sent to end-users which include developers, architects, project managers, product owners and other capability teams. The goal was to explain where the organization’s cloud transformation strategy and drive home that the ‘Connected Azure’ architecture model was for niche cases, thus limiting consulting requests.

This training document will helped users create, edit, and delete content on the Training, Events, and Contact pages of our Change Management website using the Ghost CMS platform. This platform empowered product owners, project managers and other team members with the ability to manage their own content on the website and analyze interactions with current and potential customers.
View sampleMarketing in a Box
Our team created a global hackathon in 6 countries to encourage learning & adoption of cloud technology. The goal: creating a central location for users to learn about, register, and sign-up as site leader. We created a website to support these efforts utilizing APIs for registration, social media sharing and ‘marketing in a box’ – a downloadable file with customizable, ready-to-use marketing materials for local sites to market their own local event.
View sampleScriptwriting and Animation
Our team was tasked with introducing how the IT company plans to move from on-premises technology to cloud technology. Considering our audience had little familiarity with cloud technology and job roles, we opted to create an animation instead of a lofty article. I owned the project from story mapping, script writing and managing the project with an outside vendor.

In response to a recent hack, I created an article featured in the company newsletter. It addresses a new network security rule and how it could possibly affect a user’s workflow.
